Upon arrival at Guwahati Railway Station at 06:00 AM, guests will be warmly received by our representative and assisted with their onward journey to Meghalaya, famously known as the "Abode of Clouds." En route, enjoy breakfast at Hotel Rajasthani Dhani at 07:30 AM before commencing the scenic drive towards Shillong. At 09:00 AM, proceed towards the breathtaking Laitlum Canyons, located approximately 105 kilometres from Guwahati. The journey takes guests through picturesque hill roads, pine forests, and charming Khasi villages, offering a glimpse into the natural beauty of the region.
Arrive at Laitlum Canyons around 12:00 PM and experience one of Meghalaya's most spectacular viewpoints. Translating to "End of Hills," Laitlum is renowned for its dramatic cliffs, deep valleys, rolling green hills, and panoramic landscapes stretching as far as the eye can see. The pristine surroundings, cool mountain breeze, and stunning vistas make it an ideal destination for photography and nature appreciation. After spending time exploring the canyons and enjoying the magnificent scenery, depart at 01:00 PM for Shillong.
Reach Shillong by approximately 02:00 PM and check in to the hotel. The remainder of the afternoon is free for relaxation or independent exploration of Shillong's vibrant markets and local attractions.
